Team settings
Members, invites and roles, the team's audit log, the limits and retention that apply, and the team's general settings in Open MCP Portal.
Team settings has four tabs: Members, Audit log, Limits & retention and General.
Members
Every member has one role: owner, admin, editor or member (see the role table). Owners and admins manage members; only owners add, change or remove owners.
Add member takes an email address and a role:
- someone who has signed in before is added at once;
- someone who has never signed in gets an invite. They join the team when they first sign in with that email, provided their identity provider marks the email as verified. Invites last 30 days and are listed under Open invites, where they can be revoked.
Use the email address people sign in with. Changing someone's role or removing them takes effect at their next request: a removed member's API keys and connected apps no longer reach the team's gateways.
A team always has at least one owner: the only owner can't leave or step down until they make someone else an owner.
Audit log
Owners, admins and editors see the team's own audit log: changes to its members, servers, gateways, service accounts and settings, and views of contents it recorded, including those by platform staff. See Audit log.
Limits & retention
Read-only for the team: the rate limits that apply to the team's service accounts and gateways, and how long the team's call records and recorded call contents are kept. Platform admins set these, including team overrides; ask one if your team needs other values. A gateway can also have its own rate limit on its Settings tab, up to the platform's ceiling.
General
The team's name, description and address (its slug can't change, so links keep working), your role, and Leave this team. Platform admins rename and archive teams; ask one if something here needs to change.
